Vaughan Williams: Festival Te Deum in F

This setting of the Te Deum was composed for the coronation of King George VI, which took place on May 12th, 1937. The recording, made live at the ceremony, is the only one yet made of the full version for choir and orchestra. The conductor was Adrian Boult, who was knighted in the same year.
