That is how I feel about these SIDI Crossfire 3 SRS boots. I bough them from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC earlier this year. At first they weren’t very comfortable and were very stiff. Now, I do like a stiff boot, so that part was okay. If you don’t want a stiff boot, look elsewhere. I also didn’t like how it felt like there were a lot of “steps” to get them bucked up properly. I found it to be annoying at first. Then over time, I noticed that I didn’t get nearly as much dirt, leaves, and sagebrush debris down into my boots. These SIDIs were really sealing things out. I also noticed that while they weren’t the most comfortable boot to wear around the house, once the leather was broken in and I wore them for a while, things got much better. When I first went out riding with them on, I forgot they were there. That isn’t something I can truly say with the Fox Instinct Offroad boots that I’ve been wearing a lot too. With the fox boots, sometimes I felt like my foot would get stuck on the pegs do the the amount of tread those boots have. With the Sidi’s, I haven’t had that sensation that my boot is stuck on the footpegs. No, these boots aren’t perfect, and I doubt the people with wide feel will really love them. On the other hand, for me… I think these are my favorite boots up this to date. I paid $595 from Rocky Mountain ATV for these boots.
