Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is an upcoming motorcycle, marking the entry of the famous Indian cruiser manufacturer into the twin-cylinder business after a long time. The powerful 648cc, oil cooled and fuel injected motor is good for 47 hp at 7100 rpm and 52 Nm at 5250 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield has tried making this model as light as possible, keeping in mind the requirement of riders who wish for better acceleration from their bike. The design lines of Interceptor 650 makes it an ideal rival to Triumph Street Twin in India. The motorcycle measures 2122mm, 789mm and 1165mm in length, width and height respectively. The wheelbase for Interceptor 650 remains unknown while seat height is quite effective at 804mm. It was first seen at EICMA 2017 and before that, the test mules were stopped in various European countries. Royal Enfield is expected to bring the 650 Twins in India before their official international launch. The production of these models will take place in India itself. Interceptor 650 comes with standard ABS and Pirelli tires for an exciting feature list.
