Tao of Glass 360 | Manchester International Festival HD

This 360° video capture offers an immersive panoramic window into Tao of Glass, MIF19’s world-premiere production. It showcases one of the most beautiful sequences in the show, performed by Phelim McDermott with new music by Philip Glass. The video was captured from the stage of the Royal Exchange Theatre in front of the show’s musical ensemble, a vantage point that the audience would never usually experience. The audio was recorded and mixed spatially so you can hear sounds from all directions, including the natural reverberations of the auditorium.
