Thanks to everyone who has made thoughtful and generous gifts to the Royal Opera House, we have made great progress in safeguarding the future of live art. There is a lot of need in the world right now – both from individuals and organisations – and we are grateful you chose to honour us with your support. Your gift not only gave us financial support which we sorely need, but also boosted the morale of our artists and staff during an incredibly difficult time. Your generous donations have and will help ensure that we are able to survive and recover from this crisis. This period of lockdown has prompted us all to take the time to reflect on what matters to us most. And, enjoying the artforms and artists that we all love alongside you in our beautiful theatres is something we have all missed such a great deal. The Royal Opera House just isn’t the Royal Opera House without you, our loyal supporters and audience members. You are what brings our dancers, singers and musicians to the stage every night. Hopefully we will be able to come together again soon to sit and applaud live art once again.
