English 78 rpm record from 1932. Decca. "Polydor" Series Alexander Brailowsky (1896-1976), piano. DE. 7029 - Chopin, op. 53, Polonaise A flat major This is the same disc as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBkn9YO7Vw4, but this time the disc has been rinsed before as recommended here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9a0S-snUVM The result is a perceptible reduction of surface noise, while the brilliant piano sound is retained. Same cautious processing with only very moderate noise reduction: Transferred from the original 78 rpm record at 45 rpm with a standard USB turntable equipped with special needle. Postprocessing in Audacity (inverse RIAA equalisation, speeding up to 78 rpm, DC correction, 24 dB low pass filter above 8 kHz, 24 dB high pass filter below 20 Hz, auto click removal, mono conversion, Normalisation to -1 dB). Final declicking/decrackling with ClickRepair.
