The IEBC and the presidential candidates have differed over the fate of the company awarded the 2.5 billion shillings tender to print ballot papers. the candidates have insisted that the tender be cancelled but the IEBC says it cannot do that at this stage of preparing for the August elections. the opposition had raised the red flag over what it termed as undue influence from the executive in the issuance of the tender to Dubai-based firm Al Ghurair firm.
