Crashing at the bottom of Hardknott Pass towards the end of Fred Whitton 10th May 2015 HD

Crashing at the bottom of Hardknott Pass during the Fred Whitton 2015. With my hands numb from the hard braking down the steep gradient and with the brakes not engaging sufficiently meant I crashed into the grass banking. I was fortunate as there were some rocks either side. Big thanks to the couple of riders who slowed down to ask if I was OK. Also big thanks to the medic who checked on me and to the guy in the van who gave me a spare front wheel to complete the ride. Still winded and bruised after the crash and midriff hitting the handlebars and banking quite hard.
