Roof Clearing with Avalanche Type Snow Rake HD

16.02.2015
Clearing my roof after a 15" snow storm. This is the third time I cleared the roof after 26", 16" and 15" snow storms hitting eastern Massachusetts. We are in second place currently in the all-time-record snowfall list for the winter - and it is only mid-February!! This is a time-lapse video. Actual clearing time about half an hour... The avalanche type snow rake is home-made from 1.5" x .125" aluminum bar stock. Here are a couple of photos of the rake, if anyone is interested in making one. All materials were bought at Home Depot, except the original Snow Rake handle that I re-used.
