Dark Souls 2 - The Rotten Boss Fight [HD] (Melee) HD

this boss is super annoying, took me maybe 10 tries. he honestly isn´t that hard but the area you fight him in gives you limited room since the fire will probably kill you, and the area before the boss fog will probably kill you multiple times too. once you get him down he´s not really hard. the first 2 minutes I got absolutely wrecked, it seems super hard to dodge through his vertical forward slam. but if you´re fighting him try to focus your hits on one arm, preferably the knife arm. once that´s cut off you can circle him at the cut-off side and he´ll almost never hit you. he does grow a new one after a while but if you have enough damage output he should be dead before then. if not just keep rolling backwards once and then return for a hit. you can dodge all his move like that except the forward vertical smash. he gives you enough time to heal in between hits so you should make it like that. also I suggest going 2-handed since he drains your stamina to the point where you won´t even be able to hit. so just dodge and hit.
