Dhana Desert Expedition “III” Feb 28, 2020 by #RiyadhExplorers HD

An unforgettable day in history of #RiyadhExplorers started at 6:00am with ambitions of crossing 100km of Dhana desert dunes, unexpected sand conditions got half of the convoy in the beginning, we played Stuck/Rescue for 2+ hours in diameter of 50 yards. Envoy tire burst was 2nd challenge & LC 200 2 tires popped-out in middle of the journey. However it was fun & things were under control till spare tire on Envoy teared like paper & we left in the middle of desert helpless. Nearby evening we call-off the journey & took-off from dunes to safe exit leaving envoy on jack-lift and kept a track of location. Took us good 6+ hours to exit from dunes, fix both tires, return & get our SUV out of the desert, we managed to do all by 9:30pm & reached back to Riyadh by 11:30pm. Yet; This last patch of Dhana Desert is still in the list & we will attempt its crossing once again soon. Till that stay tuned...
