Materials: Hard plastic phone case Tan/Ecru colored polymer clay Liquid polymer clay (TLS, Bake and Bond, or Fimo Deco Gel) Polymer clay for the icing (in whatever colors you like) Dotting tools/Ball tool Toothbrush Aluminum foil Yellow, orange, tan and brown chalk pastels Flat clay tool Micromarbles Nail file 100% white silicone Piping bag and star tip Beads, pearls, and other decorations Brown 3D fabric paint How to bake polymer clay: There are different baking temperatures for different brands of polymer clay, and these instructions are usually listed on the package of polymer clay. I used Premo! by Sculpey brand polymer clay, which needs to be baked at 275 °F (130 °C) for 30 minutes per 1/4 in (6 mm) thickness. I baked my clay for 25 minutes. Please check the package of your polymer clay, and get help from adult! Glazing: You can find glaze in the clay section of your local craft store. There is a Sculpey brand of gloss glaze, as well as a Fimo brand of glaze. Duraclear gloss glaze can also be found in the painting section of your local craft store. Glaze is a great finish to make your project shiny.
