This is one of my all time favorite tunes from my childhood. Every time I listened it seemed too impossible to do a solo arrangement, but a few days ago it clicked! The most famous version of this song is from the album "Minute by Minute" and in 1980 it received Grammy Awards for both Song of the Year and Record of the Year. It was composed by Michael McDonald (who sang for the Doobie Brothers at that time) and Kenny Loggins. This was CONSTANTLY on the radio in NYC (and I presume the rest of the USA). There have been many versions actually! I am just finding this out...some famous folks who covered this are: Kenny Loggins (jeez he wrote it!)
