Discoholycs - ¿Que es Funk? (Black Loops Fury Rhodes Remix) HD

El funk, el house y el disco fueron algunas de las razones que llevaron a Iván y Andrés a decidir, hace algunos años, en sus épocas universitarias, a emprender el viaje que hoy en día tiene como nombre Discoholycs. Un proyecto que rescata a través pistas bailables y frescas el groove y la excentricidad de los 70`s y los 80`s con un aire actual. “Don Genaro Ep”, su más reciente producción, es un homenaje a su viejo amigo y mascota que los acompañó durante años. Como parte de un tributo que se le rinde a su mejor amigo, este Ep cuenta con dos producciones originales: “Don Genaro”, track muy influenciado por el hip hop ochentero, acompañado de synthes futuristas, y “Que es Funk?”, una producción, más cercana al deep house, con cierto corte hip hopero en sus beats. Este duo reitera su amor por el funk, a través del sampler de una entrevista del padrino George Clinton. Así mismo, 4004 de México y los italianos Black Loops, participaron con tres increíbles remixes que logran plasmar de manera clara el concepto detrás de “Don Genaro Ep”. El próximo 31 de Octubre, Nómada Records lanza el más reciente trabajo de este duo compuesto por Ivan Grndfthr y Andrés Tarquino. _ Funk, House and Disco were some of the reasons that led Ivan and Andres to decide a few years ago, in their college times to undertake the journey that today is known as Discoholycs. This Ep features two original tracks: “Don Genaro” a track heavily influenced by the eighties Hip Hop and Funk, accompanied by futuristic synths, and “Que Es Funk?”, a production closer to Deep House mixed with Hip Hop beats and samples.
