Escapade 61 OS GGT15 os ggt 15 engine HD

Great planes Escapade 61 with OS GGT 15 gas engine, plenty of power for this sport and steady model, the engine is turning an APC 14x7 prop, runs on 40:1 Gas - Klotz oil mix, reliable idle and it is indeed very economic, it only burns 120ml for 10 minutes with most flight done around 60% to 70% throttle. Interesting, my GGT 15 starts easily when cold, but when warm or hot you need to open up the throttle. Also the GGT 15 improved a lot after about two liters of gas on it, I would not go back to a glow engine this size. There is no oil mess and the sound is agreeable too. Also you need a good glow plug igniter, as the filament on the G5 gas plug, is longer and thicker than with standard glow plugs like OS 8.
