Lauren Loretto Uptight Music video produced by Lovelove Films Starring David Frampton The up and coming recording artist Lauren Loretto approached LoveLove Films wanting a music video for her single "Uptight." LoveLove were given creative freedom, being briefed to come up with a unique and noticeable video that would suit the fast paced energetic song. Managing Director Georgina Hurcombe approached the multi award winning director Anit "On" Bashar. Together they came up with a narrative that can be described as a futuristic twist on a 1950s spy tale, starring the singer as the leading protagonist; a spy who is trying to smuggle a microchip from enemy hands, who gets captured and must escape unscathed. The video ends with a unique twist that must be seen to be appreciated. The video was shot in several interior locations, which in the video were realised as a futuristic control room, a vintage café, and an atmospherically musky den, with several exterior scenes to bridge the narrative. The video employed VFX to an extent that enhanced the video without being visually obtrusive; with smooth graphics being employed in a control room setting, which gave the whole video a highly stylistic feel. Lauren Loretto and her producers were incredibly pleased with the resulting video; which was premiered in conjunction to the artist embarking upon a world tour. This increased promotion has been recognised to have boosted her record sales, and found the artist new fans in the process.
