Uptown Music Collective - Star-Spangled Banner HD

The Uptown Music Collective was approached by Little League to record and film a version of the Star-Spangled Banner to be played on the scoreboard screen at Lamade Stadium before the bracket championship games on the last Saturday of the 2021 Little League World Series. The UMC’s relationship with LL runs deep, having played on site for the past number of years during the opening ceremonies and championship day. Since this year’s COVID restrictions prohibited students to perform live, we jumped at the awesome opportunity we were presented with! UMC Staff and Students immediately got to work on arranging and recording this version of the Star-Spangled Banner. We then reached out to our friends at the Community Arts Center, who graciously allowed us to take over the stage for an afternoon for filming purposes. What you see is the final result, which was met with standing ovations when played at Lamade Stadium! We hope you enjoy it.
