Taken At All CSNY Up In The Air Cover

28.03.2010
My wife and I were watching the movie "Up In The Air" the other night and I was pleasantly surprised to here the song "Taken At All" by Crosby Stills Nash and Young in the soundtrack. I thought, hey, I think I recorded a cover of that song on my old reel to reel recorder back in the late seventies. Sure enough, I found it and after adding some bass and percussion, here it is. This song, written by Graham Nash and David Crosby, first appeared on the Crosby and Nash Album "Whistling Down The Wire" in 1976. My cover is based on that version of the song. The song used in the movie is a new recording using Steven Stills and Neil Young. The photos in the video were taken by me in 1974 on a trip to Alaska with my brother. The last picture was taken by me out the window of a Northwest Airlines 747. After driving for seven days, 600 miles a day , to get to Anchorage, it only took five and a half hours to fly home... This is me can you take another look Did I see you looking blindly at your book Is it all that you thought that you thought it took Can it be taken taken at all Were you looking for signs along the way Can you see by your lonely light of day Is this road really the only way Can this road be taken taken at all We lost it on the highway down the dotted line You were going your way I was going mine We lost in on the highway things are out of sight You were going your way trying to make a light along the way Can you see by your lonely light of day Is this road really the only way Can this road be taken taken at all Can this road be taken taken at all
