Gintama Review HD

Anime Review of Gintama. Its a Scifi/action/comedy show which takes place in Tokyo in the late 19th cenutry. The story revolves around a group of freelancers and their adventures in trying to get money to pay their rent. This is an anime adaptation of a major manga with 400 chapters. But the anime is much much better than the manga. Currently some 250 episodes have been produced and Im really looking forward to GIntama season 7. Now this anime is really funny as hell. One I started watching it I really couldnt stop watching and there were episodes where I laughed for a whole 20 minutes without pause. It makes a lot of references to Japanese culture and history and there is no english version so thats perhaps the reason why some people say its overrated. But thats not true - even if you know nothing about Japan or anime your still gonna laugh. Its the best major show I have seen in years and I would really recommend it.
