The Royal Family of the Netherlands

The modern royal family of the Netherlands since the reign of King Willem III. The House of Orange has been, more or less, the ruling family of the Netherlands ever since Willem the Silent and the winning of independence from Spain. Throughout the reigns of Wilhelmina, Juliana and Beatrix the Dutch royal family have seen their country through good times and bad and still emerged as one of the most successful and prosperous countries in the world.
