It’s very evocative and the melody soars. Great piece of music. Rohan’s theme—from Lord of the Rings—takes on all sorts of different emotions, I feel. Sometimes it’s like a battlecry; other times, a sad reminicing theme. Put these two themes together and you have an interesting mashup! At least, I thought so. The video opens with Eowyn’s theme (which is basically the Rohan theme, kinda). Very forceful and regal, I think. Then, Across the Stars fades in. After that, Rohan takes back over. The battlecry version, actually. Then, the mashup occurs. Which was neat to arrange. Even though both themes are in different keys and time signatures, they really fit together nicely. The jumping between the themes is rather constant. Then, Rohan takes over again! Different key this time. Even more regal and forceful! That theme then melts back into Across the Stars. And that’s that! Originally, we were planning to shoot this at a different location. However, that fell through. (Finding locations is dadblame vexing!) We ended up returning to Mingo Park in Washington County. We shot in three different locations inside the park. Here is Across the Stars/Rohan Theme! Thanks for watching.
