"When I was young, my mother would take me to concerts of the Oklahoma City Symphony. I loved the sound of that great hall, and the sound of all the great symphonic halls I’ve experienced since those early concerts. But I never thought that my music would be performed in one. You can imagine my surprise when I found out that the Utah Symphony would be performing Theme For Rohan on September 8, 2014. And they wanted me to conduct! It was surreal, to stand in one of THOSE halls, and hear Rohan’s game theme swell up from the symphony. Truly one of the sublime moments of my musical life.
