This video is about VIETNAM VETERANS! YOU ARE OUR ANGELS! MY TRIP TO THE WALL! Plane just landed in Dulles airport in this October of 2014. Here I am in Virginia again. The last time I was here in 1989. I still remember… The day to see the Wall was here. I was supposed to have a company of a friend but my friend now wasn’t available. I was on my own in a brand new place with no transportation. I got up very early and called to book a reservation for car rental. I checked out the hotel. It’s hard that I had to carry the luggage from the trip to Houston with my conditions. I expected the weather to be great but no, it became extremely difficult that the temperature was dipping in fifty with rain and wind. But nothing was matter! I determined to see the Wall of my brothers and sisters. My GPS helped me with the directions and I finally found the place. I know didn’t where to park my car. I just stopped at the gift shop and asked the clerk. She told me to move further away and walk to the Wall but not to park near the gift shop. I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t walk long. I had been in pain since I got up and it could only got worse with this nasty weather. There was no way I could make it and spent time with my brothers and sisters at the Wall if I had to park far away. I had to take the chance for somebody to complain. I had to park here even thought it was still quite a distance to walk. I closed my eyes. I took a few minutes to restore my energy and spirit. It was chill and the raindrops kept falling down. I saw people in the surrounding with jackets and raincoats but I had none. I was in short-sleeves VFW uniform. I didn’t care t if it was cold or raining. I wanted my brothers and sisters see me in uniform. This really made feel so much closer to them for following their footsteps. I opened the door and got out of my car and walked toward the Wall with my camera in my hand. “Here it is, the Wall!” My trip had become reality. I touch the Wall with all the names of my brothers and sisters. This just took back in time for many years. I started visualizing of my village got attacked by Vietcong and then my American brothers and sisters were there to secure my village. I bowed my head then saluted my brothers and sisters to pay my ultimate respect to my heroes. I walked back and fourth for a few times looking at the Wall. I then stopped at one end and looked through the other end acknowledged so many names (fifty eight thousand four hundred and seventy nine) on this entire Wall. It was hard to believe. I then looked further and noticed the tall monument in a distance. What a magnificent, sacred view! This really put a gentle smile on my face to know that my brothers and sisters are resting in the right place; your souls are in heaven with God! I continued walking and I approached the statue. I saw the photo of this statue many times but today I could see it with my own eyes. These are my warriors got woun
