This 3D Printed Ergonomic Split Keyboard From KeebMaker Is VERY Cool (5 Column Corne) HD

As I have ended up experimenting with keyboard layouts I’ve found myself gravitating towards a 36 key layout which I have covered in other videos. The problem with this kind of layout on the Planck and Moonlander keyboards is they leave a lot of empty holes in the board! As a result I have found myself thinking about one of the 36 key keyboards available that are specifically designed as a 36 key keyboard. The problem is most of them are either group buys or do it yourself kits. I would rather leave that to the experts! Fortunately Andrew from https://keebmaker.com reached out to me and offered me one of his keyboards in exchange for a shout out on the channel. The keyboard we came up with is the 36 key Corne with full RGB per-key lighting as well as an underglow array. It comes with a 3D printed case that has a translucent middle section. KeebMaker sets out to bridge the gap between the commercially available boards like the Moonlander and Planck EZ with the more fringe custom board designs from the custom keyboard community. They have an easy to use online tool that lets you configure your own keyboard and then will work with you to finalise the details before they build the whole thing for you.
