Pinhão é uma vila e sede de uma freguesia do concelho de Alijó, no distrito de Vila Real. A Freguesia do Pinhão encontra-se situada no coração da Região Demarcada do Douro, e é ladeada pelos rios Douro e Pinhão, situando-se deste modo na rota do Vinho do Porto. A Ponte Rodoviária sobre o rio Douro foi projectada por Gustave Eiffel no século XIX. The Pinhão Parish is situated in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region and is surrounded by the Douro and Pinhão rivers, thus located on the Port wine route.
