I shampooed the grills and deep cleaned the cabinets and they look good. Quality - 7.5 This is is a nice, quality, set of speakers. The cabinets are solidly built and all the hard wear is seen on more expensive speakers. The grills are pretty flimsy but that’s pretty common. Sound - 8.0 I really enjoyed my time with these speakers. I can definitely see why JBL has such a loyal fan base. Good mid bass, smooth and effortless highs and great detail. Would benefit from adding a subwoofer, for larger rooms and louder volume. MSRP Rating - 7.5 Great deal on a set of speakers, even at the MSRP. The only reason that they didn’t score a little higher here is there’s systems like the Polk set I reviewed, which also included a subwoofer.
