KiCad 3.0 - Ad Hoc Via Stitching in KiCad HD
Via stitching allows you to connect two planes together with more than one via, reducing the inductance. This can result in lower noise circuits, higher allowable current flow and better signal integrity on your PCB. The method is not necessarily as easy as other CAD programs, but does allow you to create via-stitched planes.
