Administration smells foul play Magisterial probe ordered regarding unfurling of national flag upside down Majithia expresses regret over faux- pas during unfurling of National Flag,orders strict disciplinary action By Jagmohan Singh Amritsar, August 15, 2015: Commissioner Amritsar Police Jatinder Singh Aulakh and Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Civil Administration Mr. Ravi Bhagat landed in severe embarrassing situation when Punjab cabinet Minister Bikram Singh Majithia found that the tricolor unfurled by him on the eve of Independence Day was upside down. Majithia became furious, when media apprised him about the flag hoisted by him was upside down, said that he was not aware of it as District Administration knew it better as what should be right position of national flag. Taking serious note, Commissioner Amritsar Police Jatinder Singh Aulakh and Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Civil Administration Mr. Ravi Bhagat said that magisterial probe has been ordered to find out conspiracy if any. As today early in the morning national flag was in right position during rehearsal but it was shocking how the position of the flag was changed at the time of flag hoisting ceremony, they said jointly.
