Simple Life - The Seed HD

Track 1 from the album "The Family Tree" Order now at: simplelife1.bandcamp.com https://itun.es/us/dCSV5 Back in 2012, Jeff and Zak were in a hardcore band called "Carpe Diem", which disbanded in September of that year. A year later, after releasing the Windy Acres EP, the two tried to reunite the band members under the moniker "The Blank Endeavor" in order to write some new metal music. While everyone had too much going on at the time, some music did get written that the two still have on the backburner. Fast forward to July 2014. We knew that we wanted to have an instrumental intro or interlude somewhere on the record, but we were having trouble finding the proper inspiration for such a daunting task. However, upon revisiting some old material, we decided to take the intro from a Blank Endeavor song and rehash it into "The Seed". Between a change in key that provides a more upbeat sound and the proper drum stylings of Adam Sauter to spice it up, we feel The Seed is a proper introduction to the experience that is "The Family Tree".
