Two Donbass infants were airlifted to St. Petersburg for treatment HD

On April 28, a plane of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) took two 1-month-old Donbass infants to St. Petersburg from Rostov-on-Don. Both of the kids suffer from congenital heart defect and need urgent professional and high-tech medical assistance which is not available at Donbass medical establishments. The AN-148 EMERCOM’s plane has modern medical equipment and special medical modules which allow doctors to control the patients’ condition and provide them with all necessary medical assistance during the flight. The babies and their parents were accompanied by medical personnel from the emergencies ministry’s Centrospas unit and health ministry’s disaster medicine center, and also a psychologist.
