Windy westerlies return to NZ, big high crosses Aussie HD
NZ’s weather will be unsettled for the rest of July as mid-winter weather takes hold. A powerful high from Australia will dominate in the days ahead, then drifts to northern NZ for Monday, August 1. The high’s northern placement means more windy westerlies for NZ… which will help keep overnight lows up a little. Aussie’s weather is fairly settled overall, but a windier, wetter and cooler change will move into the south eastern corner.
