The range extends about 40 km northwest-southeast, and about 25 km wide. Most of the range is protected in the Pirin National Park. The mountain is named after Perun (Cyrillic: Перун), the highest god of the Slavic pantheon and the god of thunder and lightning. This is our 5 days story told in 3 minutes, this trip into the Pirin mountain was just amazing, we had everything a person could expect from a hiking week, we saw beautiful lakes, we climbed tough peaks, we had a huge challenge to pass through Koncheto in a raining cloud, we slept into a room with 30 people, we saluted the sun on one of the most beautiful photography spots on Tevno Lake, was just an unforgettable experience. I share these moments with you to show you the beauty of our mountains, to show you that every place is reachable, to remind you that we are all here to explore, to be outside, close to the Nature, to share these moments with your friends and family and to be active in life .
