Steve - AR-15 & 500 S&W

My 2nd son, "Steve", trying a rented Bushmaster AR-15 and S&W .500 Magnum. You can see the scale of the cartridges, with a .22 long rifle cartridge for reference. This was Christmas 2009. The staff of the indoor range were great - they coped very well with seven of us shooters coming in at the same time (my brother-in-law, his boys, and me and my boys). It felt good afterwards when they commented on how safe and mature our young shooters were.
