On the occasion of National Independence Day and the birthday of the Dera’s present master, Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, Dera Sacha Sauda conducts a Mega Tree Plantation Drive called “Nature Campaign”. Dera targets to add up some more million trees this year to the existing fauna across the globe, so as to save the Earth from pollution and increasing global warming. With this drive, Dera Sacha Sauda envisions to provide maximum oxygen into the environment and reduce the air pollution. It is worth mentioning that Dera Sacha Sauda has created a Guinness World Record for planting 6,873,451 trees in 8 hours by 169,920 volunteers on 15th August 2009. This figure increased to 2,039,747 plants on 15-Aug-2012 across the globe in just one hour and 3,121,203 in 8 hours. And on 15-Aug-2013, the figure increased to 3,536,263 plants across the globe in just 8 hours.
