You Might Know Her From The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls in Love, Boogie Nights, Prefontaine, Tumbleweeds, Angel, The Myth of Fingerprints, The L Word, and The L Word: Generation Q. We talked to Laurel about the challenges and rewards of taking a break from acting in order to pursue her visual art career, making a splash during the ‘90s indie cinema movement playing a young lesbian in The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls in Love, and, of course, her iconic role as Tina Kennard on the landmark series The L Word and how she got convinced to come out of retirement for it’s revival, Gen Q.
