London Drawing | Time Lapse In this video I have drawn a view of the Shard and Tower Bridge from the bank of the River Thames in London. I began by drawing the main shapes and buildings in pencil first. Once I had done this I moved onto outlining the shapes in pen before adding the details such as windows and patterns. Following this I coloured certain sections of the drawing solid black to give the effect of lighting within buildings. I then added pencil shading to all the structures as well as the sky and the river itself. This video shows sections of the process in time lapse in under 4 minutes however in real time the entire drawing took roughly 8 hours to complete over the course of two weeks. This was due to the short daylight hours during the UK winter period.
