I was handed the lyrics of this song last month (Jan 2011) by Finbar Furey in the backroom of Charlies bar in Lanzarote, He said to me.. "I wrote these lyrics down in the Hotel this morning Rory when i was hungover as hell, see if you can put a melody to them for the craic!". So i went home and came up with this. Enjoy.
