This is Tommy Gaunt kitesurfing, Anegada’s first and only choice for Kitesurfing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Snorkelling and Kayaking. The island ringed with white sand beaches and azure water with steady, reliable winds covering the north easterly facing quiet beaches, making it an ideal place for kiteboarding. With such a vast coastline Anegada provides a massive variety of conditions; from flat water lagoons, inside sandy areas to exposed reef breaks. The prevailing North Easterly wind proves to be perfect for learning. The cross-onshore winds allow riders plenty of space and the ability to get to the beach easily making safe and efficient. For more experienced riders there are endless options, exploring the island by kite is a perfect way to see the pristine coast line. Down-winders, Up-winders and kiting along the coastline gives the rider a lot of freedom, exactly what kiteboarding is about. Tommy Gaunt Kitesurfing is based at Keel Point, in association with Anegada Beach Club. Such an ideal place for kiteboarding with only a 100yard walk from the hotel, bar and restaurant you will be looking out over a huge windy bay with ocean so clear that it could bring a tear to your eye. Despite being based at Keel Point we have the excellent shuttle service allowing us to access all over the island, if the wind is slightly different direction or the client would like a change of conditions we can travel to other spots on the island that will cater for the wind. We also have a boat on hand allowing us to access anywhere on the island.
