Install Armbian Linux to development boards Orange Pi Plus 2 internal eMMC HD

Please subscribe WiFi Marketing channel for more useful videos about FREE Internet and WiFi Marketing Solutions http://goo.gl/uBXhYY --~-- Welcome back to my 2nd part where I install Armbian linux for ARM development boards to my Orange Pi Plus 2 Before installing operating systems o the board, we can check what are available from http://www.orangepi.org/index.html We can also check other resouce from the site including Orange Pi board layout and specs Under download resouce, we can see all available images for each Orange Pi types Available images for Orange Pi Plus 2 are: Ubuntu 15.04 with Mate Desktop, Lubuntu 15.04 with LXDE/Lubuntu Desktop, Debian 8 with XFCE Desktop, Fedora 22, Kali Linux, Arch Linux, OpenSuse, Ubuntu LXDE Desktop, Debian XFCE Desktop, Android(H3), Debian Server, Lubuntu, Raspbian However, some images are missing from Google Drive so I could not download I prefer armbian so we will learn how to install this linux for ARM development boards Just choose Orange PI+ 2 to access the download site You can read the guide and follow, make sure you have a good & reliable SD card and a proper power supply. Archives can be uncompressed with 7-Zip on Windows, Keka on OS X and 7z on Linux (apt-get install p7zip-full) RAW images can be written with Etcher Now your image is just a click away Come back to Orange Pi site for some guides http://www.orangepi.org/Docs/SDcardinstallation.html We can follow to install most OS images (Except Android) using this method We need TF card larger than the OS image size, generally 4GB or greater Download the TF card format tool from https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/eula_windows/ Download a tool to wirte images to an TF card http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/files/Archive/ Extract and install the tool on your machine Now extract armbian image file to your computer Armbian_5.25_Orangepiplus_Ubuntu_xenial_default_3.4.113_desktop.7z Plug the TF card in and format it with SDFormatter In the "Options" menu, set "FORMAT TYPE" option to QUICK, "FORMAT SIZE ADJUSTMENT" option to "ON" Write the image file to the TF card Now you can reject your TF card Plug the TF card to your Orange Pi and boot it Now we can install armbian on orange pi pc plus’s emmc or internal storage sudo nand-sata-install enter root password Accept all warning Select filesytem Wait for a while (about 40 mins) After rebooting, you can enjoy the new operating systems now Thank you for watching, please subscribe for more videos
