It is hand-crafted right in the heart of Italy with the finest materials. What makes a Cosmi a unique design is that it contains over 100 parts that are all individually hand fit. It breaks open much like a single shot or a double barrel, but these shotguns are semiautomatic. It contains a magazine tube that runs into the stock. The balance is a bit different, but it makes for a really light, fast handling shotgun. The Cosmi is a recoil operated system. It loads through the magazine that is contained in the stock. The way you load it is you drop one in the chamber, close the bolt, and arm the hammer. Upon arming the hammer, the shotgun will be ready for operation.
