Come along with me and my dad as we try outstanding seafood street food in Miami! My Dad and I headed over to The Lobsta Trap, which is an amazing food truck in Westchester. They make gourmet seafood street food using locally-sourced, high-quality ingredients. I couldn’t wait to eat a lobster roll! Inside the truck, I met Jeff, Judith, and Jennifer, who would make us two lobster rolls: a regular one and one with truffle butter, parmesan cheese, and parsley! They also make elote fries with corn, fried shrimp, fried lobster, and/or fried fish. The seasoned fries also have crema Mexicana, cotijo cheese, cilantro, and chili powder on them! I had never seen a seafood fries dish like this! Then, it was time to eat! The elote fries also had spicy mayo and a cilantro-garlic sauce on the side. Everything looked unbelievable! I couldn’t wait to dig in! The fried shrimp on the elote fries were unreal. The cilantro-garlic sauce was good enough to drink! Then, I dug in to get the fries and corn as well. The combination of the fries, creamy sauce, cheese, and seafood was absolutely mouthwatering! You have to eat it while it’s hot, otherwise the fries get soggy. The fried lobster was greasy and delicious and out of this world. It was a big piece of spiny lobster, and it was so fresh! Squeezing lime over it added a nice zest and the lobster wasn’t too battered or too fried. Next were the lobster rolls. I had the original, while my dad had the truffle one. I loved the bun, which was fluffy and fresh. The sauce inside was fantastic. There’s nothing like a good lobster roll! The truffles in my dad’s lobster roll were outstanding. I love truffles so much! Best lobster roll in Miami! Next, my dad tried the coleslaw, which he loved. Then, I headed back into the truck to watch them make the lobster po’boy, lobster & shrimp burger, and lobster grilled cheese. The lobster in the grilled cheese has fresh lemon, mayo, and chives in it. They also add the cilantro garlic sauce and put an entire 6-ounce fried lobster tail in the po’boy and top it with coleslaw and chives. The lobster burger has Havarti cheese on it and is served on a toasted bun with coleslaw and cilantro garlic sauce on it. We started with the lobster grilled cheese, which uses a 3-cheese blend. The combination was amazing! It was so gooey! I had never had a lobster grilled cheese before, and it was probably the best grilled cheese of my life! Next was the po’boy, which was beautiful! The coleslaw makes it with the crunchiness and creaminess. The brioche bun and flash-fried lobster meat are amazing as well. The freshness of th
