The game was released on Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita in Japan in August 2015, in Europe in July 2016, and in North America in August 2016. It is the sequel to the 2011 game, Gal*Gun. A Microsoft Windows version of the game was released via Steam in September 27, 2016.
