Byron Bay Lighthouse Australia - Starlight to Sunrise HD

Byron Bay on the most easterly point of mainland Australia is the first place to see the sun rise on mainland Australia. So I thought I’d attempt to capture a night to day time-lapse from the Cape Byron Lighthouse at Byron Bay in Australia. I started shooting the time-lapse at 3am looking towards the lighthouse, and then panned around towards the east to capture the sun rising. For those interested in the tech side of it. It was shot on a Canon 6d, and the motion was controlled by two SYRP Genie Minis mounted on their pan-tilt bracket. The exposure from night to day was controlled manually via DSLR Dashboard on the iphone and then smoothed out with LRTimelapse.
