Storage garage roof collapse in Bar Harbor, Maine

Heavy snow is suspected as the cause of a partial roof collapse at an unoccupied storage garage on Cottage Street in Bar Harbor, Maine on the afternoon of Friday, December 20. No one was injured. About a quarter of the roof caved in. Because the building was leaning over the sidewalk heavy equipment from Doug Gotts and Sons and Goodwin Construction tag-teamed the demolition of the rest of the structure.
