Trooper Tim Nichols eventually resigned after an internal affairs investigation found he had posed a "Threat to Public Safety". This chase happened on 09/17/2011 around 4:00am. Both he and trooper blow through several stop signs. No one else is around. 4:16 - Suspect goes wrong way up I-275 exit ramp and drives against traffic at high speed. Trooper Nichols follows him up the exit ramp and proceeds to the inside shoulder to continue the pursuit. 4:40 - Trooper Nichols is ordered to discontinue pursuit and he pulls over.
