Youth allied to governor Charity Ngilu hurl petrol bombs at Kitui county assembly HD

Debate at the Kitui county assembly was disrupted for the better part of the afternoon after rowdy youth attempted to torch the assembly chambers. The youth said to be allied to Kitui Governor, Charity Ngilu, hurled petrol bombs at the assembly’s gate and stones at MCAs who tried to gain access into the assembly, ahead of debate on the county supplementary budget estimates, that have divided the executive and the county assembly.
