URBEX: Homage to Immerath HD

Homage to the dying ghost town of Immerath/ Erkelenz. Immerath is a small town near the city of Erkelenz/ Germany. Currently, the town is being demolished due to brown coal mining and because of the extension of the gigantic brown coal mine of Garzweiler 2. Most residents have left the town years ago already, only a few brave people dare to stay. A security team is around most of the time. Large parts of the beautiful town have been destroyed already. Soon, the beautiful basilica of St. Lambertus will fall, too. Latest in 2018 the town will be gone entirely. This video is a sad homage to Immerath.
