List of paint colors I used: 34154 (salmon coral) 34801 (Spanish Moss) 34158 (grotto) 34929 (cottage white) 34155 (vintage mustard) Folk Art Home Decor Clear Wax Tools & Brushes: Sanding block, Chalk and wax brush set, large wax brush, large chalk brush, wide flat chalk paddle brush Other: clean rags, paper towels, soap and water for cleanup, paper to protect my work surface Painting surfaces: old cigar box (paper covered) wooden beads painted wooden bead box raw wood storage box painted wood frame Instructions: 1. Clean wood 2. Apply basecoat 3. Distress as desired (try the wet or dry distressing in the video!) 4. Apply way and let dry overnight. 5. Buff wax to desired sheen. *Give the wax finish a week to fully cure after buffing before heavy use! Other ideas! 1. Use the paint in place of gesso, the matte toothy finish makes prepping a snap! 2. Use the wax on top of journal pages (over mod-podge or other sealers) to keep the pages from sticking together. 3. Use the wax on raw wood for a durable sheen!
