This is a basic introduction to home automation with Google Home and the Sonoff Wifi Switch. This is a relatively quick and inexpensive way to start bringing your house into the 21st century. The Sonoff Switch also works with Alexa and other home assistants, but I only have a Google Home Mini. Using the Google Home and Google Assistant apps, I can also control the lights from my phone like a wireless remote control.
