This is a story about deep anguish of being far away from home. This feeling tears apart the soul of a Russian expat. He left his motherland in search of a better life. But some part of his previous life, like an insect in a piece of an amber, is still inside of him - he recalls those days with warm feelings. Close friends, pelmeni, shot of vodka on the table - the most treasured memories. Absently strolling along the streets of Brighton Beach he unbosoms his melancholy to this unfamiliar city.
